Greg Anderson

Greg Anderson
Deputy Chancellor
Before joining UNT System in 2022, Mr. Anderson served as Executive Vice President for Finance and Operations at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. During his tenure, he led UNT Health to new heights by advancing inclusive budgeting, enhancing long-term planning, and launching performance-based compensation.
Most notably, Mr. Anderson’s leadership transformed UNT Health’s investments portfolio, tripling the strength of both its reserves and endowments. These strategic initiatives not only reinforced financial sustainability but also ensured students could continue their education without the burden of rising tuition.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Anderson served for more than 27 years as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for The Texas A&M University System where he oversaw system-wide accounting and reporting for financial operations, including the budgeting process. Additionally, he directed tax activities and fiscal functions that directly related to the legislative appropriations process.
Maleia Torres

Maleia Torres
Associate Vice Chancellor of Treasury
Maleia Torres is responsible for all aspects of treasury including banking, management of cash and investments, long-term debt planning and forecasting for the University of North Texas System. Prior to joining UNT System in 2022, she worked at Texas Tech University System for over 14 years, most recently in the role of Senior Director & Treasurer. Aside from Texas public higher education, she worked as a staff accountant at a bank in the Lubbock, TX area. Maleia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio and is a Certified Treasury Professional since 2014.
Gulnaar Murthy

Gulnaar Murthy
Director, Treasury
Gulnaar Murthy joined University of North Texas System in 2015 as a Treasury Analyst. In her current role as Director for Treasury, Gulnaar is responsible for the day to day management of the team, the System’s commercial paper programs, short term investments, relationship with banking partners and supporting the Associate Vice Chancellor for Treasury. Prior to joining UNT System, she has worked for Fidelity Investments, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of New York Mellon. Gulnaar holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Certified Treasury Professional.
Aprille Lim

Aprille Lim
Senior Financial Analyst
Aprille Lim has been working for University of North Texas System since 2018. Aprille assists the Associate Vice Chancellor in monitoring the performance of the debt programs related to the System’s short-term and long-term financing. Aprille also assists in special projects and serves as support to the team. Aprille is an alum of Arizona State University, holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Finance, and is a Certified Treasury Professional.
Jennifer Sevilla

Senior Financial Analyst
Jennifer Sevilla joined University of North Texas System in 2021 as a Treasury Analyst. Jennifer is responsible for the day-to-day cash activities of the department, assisting in the System’s commercial paper programs, short-term investments, relationship with banking partners and supporting the Director for Treasury. Prior to joining UNT System, she was an intern for the Treasury department for the University of North Texas System. Jennifer is an alumna of UNT and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
